India had developed her own peculiar art and her master craft-men's work flourished remarkably under court patronage and private munificence. The remains of ancient buildings bear eloquent testimony to the artistic skill of Rajasthani Craftsmen of pre-British days. These Rajasthani Craftsmen modified the technique of the art to suit their monotheistic tendencies and consequently we find in the palaces of Emperors a great deal of decorative information.
